The phenolic wheel is a hard resin tread that carries high load and resists oils, solvents, and heat to 250°F, a good fit where elastomer treads soften or swell. The swivel head steers the cart, with a 4.125-inch swivel radius to allow, and the Delrin plain bearing runs grease-free and corrosion-proof. At 5 inches it eases over thresholds better than a smaller wheel, on a stainless steel frame for corrosion. Phenolic is rigid, so it rolls loud, gives no cushioning, can chip under impact, and can mark a soft floor. It serves from -45 to 250°F.
