Use this 5-inch Defender D4 swivel on the front of a quiet cart that steers and wants a stable, planted footprint, grease-free.
The grey flat-tread Performa rubber wheel runs quietly and protects finished floors as Colson's non-marking institutional tread, with a flat profile that puts more rubber down for a planted feel. The swivel head steers the cart, with a 4.125-inch swivel radius to allow, and the Delrin plain bearing runs grease-free and corrosion-proof. At 5 inches it eases over thresholds better than a smaller wheel, on a stainless steel frame for corrosion. Soft rubber keeps the load class modest, so this is the quiet, low-upkeep steering caster. It serves from -45 to 180°F.
