About This Caster - D4.05109.535 SS
Reach for this 5-inch Defender D4 swivel when a heavy chemical-area cart must steer on a strong wheel and roll smoothly at speed.
The swivel head guides the cart through tight spaces, with a 4.125-inch swivel radius to allow, and the Maxim glass-filled nylon wheel takes heavy point loads while resisting chemicals and moisture without absorbing water. The pedestal precision ball bearing keeps both wheel and swivel turning smoothly on faster, frequent trips and tow lines, on a stainless steel frame for corrosion. At 5 inches it eases over thresholds better than a smaller wheel. Glass-filled nylon is hard with no cushioning and can scratch a soft floor. It serves from -20 to 180°F.
