Use this 5-inch Defender D4 swivel on a sterilization or retort cart that steers through steam and high heat, grease-free.
The swivel head guides the cart through tight processing spaces, with a 4.125-inch swivel radius to allow, and the blue hi-temp retort polypropylene wheel rides through autoclave and food-processing retort cycles where heat and steam would soften an elastomer, holding to 250°F and resisting sterile-processing chemicals. The Delrin plain bearing runs grease-free and corrosion-proof, on a stainless steel frame for wash-down service. At 5 inches it eases over thresholds better than a smaller wheel. The wheel is hard with no cushioning and can mark a soft floor. It serves from -45 to 250°F.
