Thread this 4-inch Chrome Hospital swivel into a tube-frame medical stand that has to lock in place once it is rolled to the bedside.
The 1/2-13 threaded stem screws into a tapped leg, and the total lock fixes the stand completely: a single pedal stops the wheel rolling and locks the swivel from turning, so a diagnostic or treatment stand does not move once it is set by the patient. At 4 inches it clears thresholds and rolls the corridor between stops, and the soft rubber tread on a polyolefin core stays quiet and cushions vibration. The chrome finish wipes clean and resists disinfectant corrosion, holding from -30 to 180°F.
