About This Caster - CH-05TPP-125-TL-TS02
Thread this 5-inch Chrome Hospital swivel into a tube-frame bed or heavier stand that has to clear the worst thresholds and then lock in place.
The 1/2-13 threaded stem screws into a tapped leg, and the total lock fixes the frame completely: a single pedal stops the wheel rolling and locks the swivel from turning, so a bolt-in bed or heavy stand stays put once it is set by the patient. At 5 inches it rolls elevator gaps and ramp transitions a smaller wheel jams on, and the soft rubber tread on a polyolefin core stays quiet and cushions vibration between stops. The chrome finish wipes clean and resists disinfectant corrosion, holding from -30 to 180°F.
