About This Caster - CH-05TPP-125-TL-TP01
Use this 5-inch Chrome Hospital swivel on a hospital bed or heavier equipment cart that has to park immobile at the bedside.
The total lock fixes the bed completely: one pedal press stops the wheel rolling and locks the swivel from turning, so a bed or heavy cart holds its spot during a transfer or a procedure instead of rolling when someone leans on the rail. At 5 inches it clears the worst thresholds and pushes light down a corridor between stops, and the soft rubber tread on a polyolefin core stays quiet and cushions vibration. The chrome finish wipes clean and resists disinfectant corrosion, on a four-bolt top plate, holding from -30 to 180°F.
