Specify this 4-inch braked swivel for flat-frame medical equipment that has to be parked and held still during use, where the caster bolts to a plate and a wheel-only brake would let the device pivot.
The total lock freezes the wheel and the swivel together in one pedal, so the equipment cannot roll or rotate while it is in use, and the top plate bolts to a flat equipment base. The grey non-marking rubber tread on a polyolefin core stays quiet on hospital vinyl, and the precision bearing keeps it smooth when it does roll. It is the plate-mount locking corner of a medical cart.
