About This Caster - AS30G1PODTL

Put this 3-inch swivel under a wash-down rack that has to sit dead-still once it's placed, where the wheel takes a hosing and the total lock pins it down.

The A-Line POD wheel from Pemco is polyolefin on a polypropylene core, a hard black tread that will not soak up water or rust through repeated hosing. The total-lock brake pins the wheel and the swivel together, so the rack sits still on a damp floor or a slight slope and will not creep, and the Delrin plain bearing runs maintenance-free. The 7/16-inch grip-ring stem snaps into a tube-leg socket, and the tread holds to 180°F. The ride is firmer than urethane.
