Put this 3-inch swivel under a janitor or wash cart that parks at a station and gets hosed, where the wheel takes the water and a side brake keeps it from rolling off.

The A-Line POD wheel from Pemco is polyolefin on a polypropylene core, a hard black tread that will not soak up water or rust through a daily hosing, so it suits janitor and wash carts a metal-core wheel would corrode under. A side-mounted foot brake locks the wheel with a tap so the cart holds at a station while the swivel still turns, and the Delrin plain bearing runs maintenance-free. It mounts on a 1/2-inch hollow kingpin that drops into a tube-frame cart, and the tread holds to 180°F.
