About This Caster - AS30P1PODSB

Put this 3-inch swivel under a wash-down deck cart that parks at a station and gets hosed, where a four-bolt plate holds firm and a side brake keeps it from rolling off.

The Pemco A-Line POD wheel is polyolefin on a polypropylene core, a hard black tread that will not absorb water or rust through a daily hosing, so it suits wash-down decks a metal-core wheel would corrode under. A side-mounted foot brake locks the wheel with a tap so the cart holds at the station while the swivel still turns, the 2-5/8 by 3-3/4 inch top plate bolts to a flat deck, and the Delrin plain bearing runs maintenance-free. The tread holds to 180°F.
