About This Caster - AS30P1POD

Put this 3-inch swivel under a four-bolt flat-deck cart in a wash-down or damp area, where a top plate holds firm and the POD wheel shrugs off the water.

The A-Line POD wheel from Pemco is polyolefin on a polypropylene core, a hard black tread that will not absorb water or rust, so it suits wash-down and damp decks a metal-core wheel would corrode under, and it stays low on price. The 2-5/8 by 3-3/4 inch top plate bolts four corners to a flat deck for the most secure A-Line mount, and the Delrin plain bearing runs maintenance-free with no grease. The tread holds to 180°F, and the ride is firmer than urethane.
