About This Caster - AS30T1PODTL

Put this 3-inch swivel under a wash-down stand that threads into a shallow frame boss and has to sit dead-still, where the wheel takes the water and a total lock pins it down.

The Pemco A-Line POD wheel is polyolefin on a polypropylene core, a hard black tread that will not soak up water or rust through repeated hosing. The total-lock brake pins the wheel and the swivel together, so the stand sits still on a damp floor and will not creep, the short 1/2-13 by 1 inch threaded stem seats in a shallow boss, and the Delrin plain bearing runs maintenance-free. The tread holds to 180°F, and the ride is firmer than urethane.
