About This Caster - AS30T1POD
Put this 3-inch swivel under a budget leg-mount cart with a shallow threaded boss in a damp area, where a short stem seats fully and the POD wheel shrugs off the water.
The Pemco A-Line POD wheel is polyolefin on a polypropylene core, a hard black tread that will not absorb water or rust, so it keeps rolling in damp and wash-adjacent work a metal-core wheel corrodes in, and it stays low on price. The short 1/2-13 by 1 inch threaded stem screws into a shallow boss where a longer stem would bottom out, and the Delrin plain bearing runs maintenance-free with no grease. The tread holds to 180°F, and the ride is firmer than urethane.
