This A-Line POD from Pemco is a polyolefin tread on a polypropylene core, a hard black wheel that shrugs off water and detergent without swelling or rusting, so it suits janitor carts a metal-core wheel would corrode under. A side-mounted foot brake locks the wheel with a tap so the cart holds at the station while the swivel still turns, the taller 3.5-inch wheel clears wet thresholds, and it mounts on a 1/2-inch hollow kingpin. The Delrin plain bearing runs maintenance-free, and the tread holds to 180°F.
