Fit this 3-1/2-inch A-Line swivel to a drafting stool with a shallow tapped leg, the short threaded-stem TPR caster whose 1/2-13 x 1 stem seats flush in a one-inch hole and lifts the seat to the in-between height.
The short 1-inch thread seats fully in a shallow insert so the stool sits square, and the 3-1/2-inch diameter raises a drafting or shop stool a touch higher than a 3-inch for a comfortable reach. The swivel turns freely on a precision ball bearing, and the Pemco TPR rubber on a polypropylene core stays soft and quiet with no marks on a studio or shop floor.

Skip the TPR wheel if the seat loads hard or works near heat over 180°F; a TPU polyurethane or cast iron E-line wheel takes the load where rubber gives.
