Match this 3-1/2-inch A-Line swivel to a tool stand with a deep tapped leg, the long threaded-stem TPR caster whose 1/2-13 x 1-1/2 stem bites a full inch and a half for the most thread engagement at the in-between height.
The longer 1-1/2-inch thread engages a deep insert fully, which a tool stand that gets nudged and side-loaded needs so it will not work loose, and the 3-1/2-inch diameter lifts the stand a touch above a 3-inch. The swivel turns freely on a precision ball bearing, and the Pemco TPR rubber on a polypropylene core stays soft and quiet with no marks on a shop floor.
Ideal applications
- Tool stands with deep tapped legs
- Side-nudged stands that must not work loose
- Shop floors that need the in-between height
Skip the TPR wheel if the stand loads hard or works near heat over 180°F; a TPU polyurethane or cast iron E-line caster bears the load where soft rubber gives way.
