About This Caster - AS40T1PODTL

Specify this 4-inch A-line swivel for a shallow threaded socket where the parked load cannot be allowed to roll or pivot.

The 1-inch threaded stem seats fully in a shallow 1/2-13 insert where a longer stem would bottom out, and the total lock pins the wheel and the swivel head together in one pedal action so a loaded cart can neither creep nor swing once set. The wheel is a hard polyolefin on a polypropylene core that resists moisture from -45 to 180°F, and the Delrin plain bearing runs maintenance-free. It is the short-stem total-lock corner of the A-line.

• Thin-frame carts parked on a grade where a swivel would swing
