About This Caster - AS40T2POD
Choose this 4-inch A-line swivel when a deep 1/2-13 socket or a thick frame needs more thread engagement than a short stem can give.
The 1-1/2-inch threaded stem bites deeper into a tapped boss or a thick leg and pulls down tight without running out of thread, a more positive hold than the 1-inch stem on a heavily used leg. The wheel is a hard polyolefin on a polypropylene core, a black tread that rolls easy and resists moisture from -45 to 180°F, and the Delrin plain bearing runs maintenance-free. It is the deep-stem economical rolling corner of the A-line.
Ideal applications
- Deep 1/2-13 sockets needing 1-1/2 inches of thread engagement
- Thick frames where a short stem grabs too little thread
- Deep-stem economical hard wheels on a maintenance-free bearing
Where the socket is shallow, the shorter 1-inch-stem AS40T1POD seats without bottoming.
