About This Caster - AS50H1TPU
Fit this 5-inch A-Line swivel where a frame bolts up through one center hole and rolls a finished floor a black wheel would scuff.
The hollow kingpin mounts the caster with a single 1/2-inch center bolt, the fit for a frame too tight for a four-bolt plate, and the thermo-urethane tread keeps it from marking sealed concrete or tile. The urethane rolls light on a precision ball bearing rather than a plain Delrin one, so the cart pushes easily, and the cast-iron core under the tread carries the load. The A-Line is rated to 350 pounds per caster from -45 to 180°F.
Ideal applications
- Single-bolt frames on a finished floor that must stay mark-free
- Center-bolt swap with a quiet ball-bearing urethane wheel
- Tight frames with no room for a plate, rolling sealed floors
For a tougher wheel that ignores chemicals and wash-down, the polyolefin hollow-kingpin AS50H1POD trades the easy roll for chemical resistance.
