About This Caster - AS50P2TPR
Use this 5-inch A-Line swivel on the front of a tall broad platform cart, the plate-mount TPR caster whose wider 3-1/8 x 4-1/8 plate steers a broad deck from a stable footprint at the tallest A-Line height.
The larger P2 plate spreads its four bolts wide so a tall broad platform steers without rocking, which matters more as the deck rides high, and the 5-inch diameter rolls the longest run with the least effort. The precision ball bearing turns smooth, and the Pemco TPR rubber on a polypropylene core stays soft and quiet with no marks on a finished floor.
Ideal applications
- Front of tall broad platform carts
- High decks that need a wide stable steering footprint
- Broad high decks that roll long with least effort
Skip the TPR wheel if the cart loads hard or works near heat over 180°F; a TPU polyurethane or cast iron E-line caster bears it where rubber gives way.
