About This Caster - AS50T1PODSB

Spec this 5-inch A-Line swivel for a tapped-frame cart in a wet bay that has to stop rolling on a grade.

The 1/2-13 threaded stem screws into a tapped leg or locks with a nut, and the side brake adds a foot lever that presses a shoe onto the tread to stop the wheel rolling while the swivel keeps turning, enough to hold a parked cart on a slope. The wheel is chemical-proof black polyolefin on a rust-free Delrin bearing, suited to a wash-down or food-area frame that bolts in by its stem. The A-Line is rated to 350 pounds per caster from -45 to 180°F.
