Set this 4-inch E-line rigid on the braked back corner of a loaded straight-haul cart, the fixed TPR caster whose roller bearing carries the dead weight while a tread lock holds the rear against roll-back.

A rigid caster tracks straight, the roller bearing carries the most dead weight of the E-line bores at a walk, and the tread lock clamps the rear wheel so a loaded cart parked on a grade cannot roll back. The 4 by 4-1/2 top plate bolts to a flat deck, the 4-inch diameter keeps a heavy rear low and stable, and the wider 2-inch Pemco TPR rubber on a polypropylene core stays soft and quiet with no marks.

Ideal applications

• Braked back corners of loaded straight-haul carts
• Heavy rears that must hold against roll-back on a grade
• Roller-bore weight kept low at the 4-inch height

Skip the TPR wheel if the load runs near the top of its range or works near heat over 180°F; a TPU polyurethane or cast iron wheel bears it where soft rubber gives way.
