About This Caster - ES4X2CIRCAMS

Set this 4-inch cast iron swivel on a compact high-heat cart corner that needs a foot-cam brake to lock the wheel.

The 5-inch cam brake is a cam-action foot pedal that presses on the cast iron tread to lock the wheel, a larger, easier pedal to set than a side tread-lever. The cast iron wheel holds up from -40 to 600°F for an oven or foundry line where rubber or poly would soften, and at 4 inches it keeps the deck low. The trade is a hard, noisy wheel that damages a soft floor, so it suits bare concrete. It runs on a roller bearing and bolts on a 4 by 4-1/2-inch top plate.

• 5-inch cam pedal locking a cast iron wheel to 600°F
• Swivel braked corner on bare concrete at a low deck
