Pick this 6-inch E-line swivel for the braked front of a big loaded cart, the wide-tread TPR caster whose roller bearing carries the weight while a tread lock holds the tall wheel at a stop.
The swivel steers the cart, the roller bearing carries the E-line load at a walk for less than a precision bore, and the tread lock clamps the wheel so a loaded cart holds at the bench. The 6-inch diameter bridges floor seams that jolt a smaller front, the 4 by 4-1/2 top plate bolts to a flat deck, and the wider 2-inch Pemco TPR rubber on a polypropylene core stays soft and quiet with no marks.
Ideal applications
- Braked front of big loaded carts at the bench
- Loaded rigs that need a wheel stop on a tall front
- Floor seams a braked 6-inch swivel bridges
Skip the TPR wheel if the cart loads near the top of its range or works near heat over 180°F; a TPU polyurethane or cast iron caster takes the load where soft rubber flattens.
