Specify this 6-inch E-line swivel for the biggest cart that has to lock dead firm by foot, the wide-tread TPR caster whose 7-inch cam brake gives the most pedal reach to set a firm lock under a loaded deck.
A cam brake drives a cam against the wheel in one stomp for a more positive hold than a flip-lever tread lock, and the long 7-inch cam pedal sets harder than the 5-inch cam, so a heavy loaded cart locks dead firm with one foot. The roller bearing carries the E-line load at a walk, the 6-inch diameter bridges floor seams, and the wider 2-inch Pemco TPR rubber on a polypropylene core stays soft and quiet with no marks.

Skip the TPR wheel if the cart loads near the top of its range or works near heat over 180°F; a TPU polyurethane or cast iron caster holds the deck where soft rubber gives.
