Choose this 6-inch E-line swivel for the front of a big tow cart that parks on a dock, the wide-tread TPR caster whose tread lock stops the tall wheel while a precision ball bearing steers cool over the breaks.
The swivel steers the cart, the tread lock clamps the wheel at a stop, and the precision ball bearing runs cool and true under the pull. The 6-inch diameter bridges dock plates and floor seams, the 4 by 4-1/2 top plate bolts to a flat deck, and the wider 2-inch Pemco TPR rubber on a polypropylene core stays soft and quiet with no marks.
Ideal applications
- Front of big tow carts that park on a dock
- Cool precision steer with a wheel stop on a tall front
- Big braked swivels that bridge dock plates
Skip the TPR wheel if the cart loads near the top of its range or works near heat over 180°F; a TPU polyurethane or cast iron caster takes the load where rubber gives way.
