About This Caster - ES8X2PODCAML

Choose this 8-inch swivel when an economical hard-wheel cart carries a heavy load on long runs, is braked often, and needs the longest lever to set the lock by foot.

The 7-inch cam brake carries the longest lever of the E-line brakes, so a tap of the foot rotates the cam to press the shoe firmly on the big loaded wheel and releases it just as easily. The 8-inch diameter rolls over debris and holds momentum down a long run, and the tread is a USA-made polyolefin, hard and moisture-resistant from -45 to 180°F, that will not flat-spot when parked. The roller bearing carries a medium-heavy load, and it bolts down through the standard E-line 4 by 4-1/2 inch top plate.
