About This Caster - ES8X2PODTBK
Use this 8-inch swivel on the corner of an economical medium-duty cart that travels long on a smooth floor and then has to stay put.
The 8-inch diameter rolls over debris and holds momentum down a long run, a tread-lock brake presses a shoe on the wheel to stop it rolling while the swivel stays free, and the roller bearing carries a medium-heavy load through slow travel. The wheel is a USA-made polyolefin, a hard black tread that resists moisture from -45 to 180°F and will not flat-spot under the wheel-lock when parked. It bolts down through the standard E-line 4 by 4-1/2 inch top plate.
Ideal applications
- 8-inch economical corners on long runs that park on a grade
- 8-inch roller-bearing hard wheels braked on long runs
- 8-inch USA-made polyolefin held still on a long busy-floor run
