About This Caster - ES8X2MORTBK
Use this 8-inch mold-on rubber swivel where a heavier cart travels long on a quiet floor and then has to park and hold.
The 8-inch diameter rolls over chips and floor joints down a long run, a tread-lock brake presses a shoe on the wheel to stop it once parked, and the tread is mold-on rubber bonded to a cast iron core, quiet and non-marking, cushioning seams from -40 to 180°F. The rubber is bonded to the core, so it will not peel off under load or flat-spot under the wheel-lock when parked, and the roller bearing carries the load through slow travel.
Ideal applications
- 8-inch mold-on rubber corners that travel long then park locked
- Cushioned wheels held still on a quiet finished floor
- Tread-lock braked rubber on a medium-heavy 8-inch load
