About This Caster - ER8X2MORTBK

Set this 8-inch rubber-on-iron rigid on a heavy cart corner that rolls quiet over the roughest ground and has to stay put once parked.

The tread lock brake presses a pad onto the rubber tread to stop the wheel rolling, holding a heavy parked cart on a slope from a rigid corner that cannot swivel away. At 8 inches, the largest in the E-line, the mold-on-rubber tread on a cast-iron core clears the worst thresholds and cushions broken concrete while running quiet between stops. It runs on a roller bearing and bolts on a 4 by 4-1/2-inch top plate, holding from -40 to 180°F.
