About This Caster - ER6X2MORTBK

Set this 6-inch rubber-on-iron rigid on a tall cart corner that rolls quiet over rough ground and has to stay put once parked.

The tread lock brake presses a pad onto the rubber tread to stop the wheel rolling, so a parked cart holds on a slope or while loaded from a rigid corner that cannot swivel away. At 6 inches the mold-on-rubber tread on a cast-iron core clears the worst thresholds and cushions the roughest floor while running quiet between stops. It runs on a roller bearing and bolts on a 4 by 4-1/2-inch top plate, holding from -40 to 180°F.
