About This Caster - ES6X2MORTBK
Set this 6-inch mold-on rubber swivel under a cart that crosses thresholds on a quiet finished floor and then has to park and hold.
The tread is mold-on rubber bonded to a cast iron core, so the iron core carries a medium-heavy load while the rubber runs quiet, leaves no marks, and cushions the seams a hard wheel would clatter over, holding from -40 to 180°F. The 6-inch diameter clears door tracks a smaller wheel catches on, a tread-lock brake presses a shoe on the wheel to stop it once parked, and the roller bearing carries the load through slow travel.
