About This Caster - ES4X2PODTBK

Use this 4-inch swivel on the corner of an economical medium-duty cart that rolls on a smooth floor and then has to stay put.

A tread-lock brake presses a shoe on the wheel to stop it rolling while the swivel stays free. The wheel is a USA-made polyolefin, a hard black tread that rolls easy and resists moisture from -45 to 180°F, the roller bearing carries a medium-heavy load through slow travel, and it bolts down through the standard E-line 4 by 4-1/2 inch top plate. It is the braked rolling corner of the economical polyolefin E-line.

Ideal applications

• Economical roller-bearing corners that park on a grade
• Hard polyolefin wheels braked on a smooth warehouse floor
• Medium-duty carts held still without a separate floor chock

For a smoother bearing under the brake, the ball-bearing ES4X2PODBTBK rolls lighter between locks.
