About This Caster - ES4X2MORTBK
Use this 4-inch mold-on rubber swivel on the corner of a low-deck cart that rolls quiet and then has to hold its spot once parked.
A tread-lock brake presses a shoe on the wheel to stop it rolling while the swivel stays free to point. The tread is mold-on rubber bonded to a cast iron core, so the iron core carries a medium-heavy load while the rubber runs quiet, leaves no marks, and cushions seams from -40 to 180°F. The 4-inch diameter keeps the deck low, and the roller bearing carries the load through slow travel.
Ideal applications
- Low-deck mold-on rubber corners that park on a grade
- Quiet finished-floor carts held still without a floor chock
- Tread-lock braked rubber wheels on a medium-heavy load
