About This Caster - ER4X2PODTBK
Set this 4-inch polypropylene rigid on a compact wash-down cart corner that has to resist chemicals and stay put once parked.
The tread lock brake presses a pad onto the hard polypropylene tread to stop the wheel rolling, holding a parked cart on a grade from a rigid corner that cannot swivel aside. The USA-made polypropylene wheel shrugs off water and cleaners that would attack rubber, riding firm with no cushion, and at 4 inches it keeps the deck low. It runs on an economical roller bearing and bolts on a 4 by 4-1/2-inch top plate, holding from -45 to 180°F.
Ideal applications
- Compact 4-inch polypropylene corners that park in a wash-down bay
- Tread lock stopping the hard wheel on a chemical-resistant cart
- Roller-bearing braked rigid at a low deck height
If the corner only needs to roll, the plain ER4X2POD drops the brake.
