About This Caster - ER5X2PODTBK

Set this 5-inch polypropylene rigid on a mid-deck wash-down cart corner that resists chemicals and has to hold once parked.

The tread lock brake presses a pad onto the hard polypropylene tread to stop the wheel rolling, so a parked cart holds on a slope from a rigid corner that cannot swing away. The USA-made polypropylene wheel ignores water and cleaners that would rot rubber, riding firm with no cushion, and at 5 inches it clears a threshold at a lower deck than the 6-inch. It runs on an economical roller bearing and bolts on a 4 by 4-1/2-inch top plate, holding from -45 to 180°F.
