About This Caster - ER8X2MOR
Set this 8-inch rubber-on-iron rigid on the fixed corners of a heavy cart that has to roll quiet over the roughest ground.
At 8 inches, the largest in the E-line, the wheel rolls expansion joints, dock plates, and broken concrete that stop a smaller wheel and cuts rolling effort the most on a long haul. The mold-on-rubber tread on a cast-iron core cushions that rough ground and runs quiet while the iron center carries the load. Being rigid it tracks straight behind the steering corners, runs on a roller bearing, and bolts on a 4 by 4-1/2-inch top plate, holding from -40 to 180°F.

- Mold-on-rubber-on-iron cushioning shock at the largest size
- Rigid tracking straight on the tallest E-line deck
To stop the wheel rolling once parked, the tread-lock ER8X2MORTBK adds a brake.
