Run this flat-tread 6-inch Performa wheel under a heavy assembly cart that travels long loaded runs, the wide roller-bearing wheel whose flat tread lays the most rubber on the floor for straight-line stability under weight.
A flat tread puts the full 2-inch width in contact, which keeps a loaded assembly cart tracking straight down a line instead of wandering, and the roller bearing carries the dead weight and absorbs the start-stop shock at the stations. The 6-inch diameter rolls the long runs with little effort, and the soft Colson Performa rubber on a polypropylene core stays quiet and non-marking on a plant floor.
