The tall 8-inch diameter rolls over hose, chips, and floor joints, and the Delrin plain bearing carries it with no lubrication to wash out or attract grit, which is what makes it right for damp and clean environments. The phenolic tread holds up to floor oils and 180°F, and the plain bearing keeps the roll quiet. It trades capacity for that freedom from maintenance, so reserve the heaviest loads for the roller version.
