About This Wheel - 41GE52-01
Specify this 5-inch wide polyolefin wheel for a loaded stock or order-picking cart, where the 2-inch tread and roller bearing carry a heavier load than the narrow polyolefin wheels can hold.
Tread width and bearing are what move this wheel up a load class: the full 2 inches of contact spreads the weight of a packed stock cart, and the roller bearing carries it through the slow, heavy travel of a picking route. It keeps the polyolefin advantages, shrugging off water and warehouse chemicals without rusting or rotting, so it lasts on a cart that runs a wet or messy aisle all day. The ride is firm, and it costs less than a polyurethane wheel at the same load.
Ideal applications
- Loaded order-picking cart on a long warehouse route, sealed concrete
- Heavier stock cart in a wet or chemical-splashed aisle
- Distribution rig needing economical load capacity
Skip the firm polyolefin tread if the load is heavy enough to flat-spot it or needs cushioning; a 5-inch HI-TECH polyurethane wheel carries more and rolls softer.
Pairs with: a matching 5-inch by 2-inch caster fork to build a swivel or rigid caster, from the Caster Hardware collection.
Wrong fit? More load, or cushioning? See the 5-inch HI-TECH 41JC52-03 and the 6-inch wide polyolefin 41GE62-01.
Also in this family: the 6-inch wide 41GE62-01 and 8-inch wide 41GE82-01, or the polyolefin wheel collection.
