About This Wheel - 41GH52-01
Specify this 5-inch wide polyolefin wheel with the Delrin bearing for a wet-area service cart that has to clear thresholds and never gets greased, the taller maintenance-free wheel for a washed-down route.
Stepping up to 5 inches lets a cart roll over the door sills and floor transitions that stall a 4-inch wheel, and keeping the Delrin plain bearing means there is nothing to lubricate or to wash out in a wet bay. The wide 2-inch tread carries a steady load, and the molded polyolefin shrugs off the water and cleaning chemicals that rot rubber and rust steel. It suits a commissary, a meat-room, or a wash-down production cart that crosses sills all shift. The ride is firm and non-marking.
Ideal applications
- Commissary cart crossing sills on a washed-down route
- Meat-room or wet-production rig needing a no-grease bearing
- Tall wet-area cart where rubber rots and steel corrodes
Skip the Delrin bearing for fast heavy cycling; the HI-TECH polyurethane 41JE52-03 carries more and rolls softer under constant use.
Pairs with: a matching 5-inch by 2-inch caster fork to build a swivel or rigid caster, from the Caster Hardware collection.
Wrong fit? More load, or cushioning? See the 5-inch HI-TECH 41JE52-03 and the 6-inch delrin polyolefin 41GH62-01.
Also in this family: the 4-inch delrin 41GH42-01 and 6-inch delrin 41GH62-01, or the polyolefin wheel collection.
