About This Leveling Mount - SSW-1

Specify the SSW-1 for light equipment that has to level on an uneven floor and then survive daily washdown, where a plated steel mount would bloom rust at the first hose-down and fail a sanitation check.

The Stainless Steel build is the whole reason to choose this over the plain BSW-1: the stud, nut, and swivel pad all resist the caustics and chlorides that pit a coated foot from the threads outward. Once corrosion starts in a leveling stud, the nut seizes and the next adjustment shears it. The stainless hardware keeps turning clean for the life of the machine, and the 1.25-inch pad still tilts to seat flat on a sloped floor.

Ideal applications

• Food-prep table leveled on a tiled floor that gets hosed each shift
• Light packaging stand in a chloride-heavy cold room
• Lab bench in a wet chemistry area with frequent surface wipe-down

Skip the SSW-1 in a dry plant where corrosion is not a factor; the plain-steel BSW-1 gives the same 1.25-inch swivel base for less.
