About This Leveling Mount - TE1-1A

Specify the TE1-1A to give a light tubular leg an adjustable foot, a brass insert that presses into 1-1/2 inch 16ga round tube and leaves a 3/8-16 socket for a small leveling stud, with no welding.

Welding a nut into 16ga wall is how a light tubular bench gets ruined: the thin section warps with the heat and the finish burns off where you cannot reach to touch it up. The pressed brass end skips all of that. It seats into the tube cold, grips the inside wall without cracking the thin section the way a forced steel insert can, and gives a clean 3/8-16 thread for a stud to turn in. Brass also will not rust in the closed pocket at the bottom of the leg.

• Thin-wall equipment leg that would warp if a nut were welded in

Skip the TE1-1A if the leg is 2-inch schedule 10 pipe; the TE1-10A is cut for that pipe and shares the 3/8-16 thread.
