Specify the TE1-1D for the largest foot a 1-1/2 inch round tube leg will take, a brass insert that presses into the 16ga tube and gives a heavy 3/4-10 thread for a coarse leveling stud, with no welding.

The 3/4-10 socket carries the most thread in the round-tube line, and the brass body is what makes that safe in 16ga wall: it seats firm against the tube ID and distributes the stud's load into the leg instead of concentrating it where a steel insert would split the section. The coarse thread holds a firm setting under a frame that loads its legs. Brass keeps the thread turning in the damp, closed end of the tube where a steel part would corrode and lock.

Ideal applications

• Heavier round-tube frame needing the largest leveling thread
• Tubular base where one leg carries most of the load
• 16ga round leg that has to mount a 3/4-10 foot without a weld

Skip the TE1-1D if the leg is 2-inch schedule 10 pipe; the TE1-10D is bored for that pipe with the same 3/4-10 thread.
