About This Caster - C0020741ZN-POL01(KK)B
Use this 2-inch threaded-stem swivel on the corner of a low equipment base that has to roll into place and then stay put.
A side brake sits beside the wheel, and a flick of the lever presses a shoe against the tread to stop it rolling, so a fixture set on a sloped or busy floor will not creep. The wheel is hard polyolefin, a black tread good from -20 to 230°F that resists moisture and cleaning. The 1-inch stem threads into a 1/2-13 socket, and the 00 Series keeps the build low to the floor. The brake holds the wheel, not the swivel, so it stops the roll while the head can still pivot.
Ideal applications
- Threaded-stem corners that must lock against a sloped or busy floor
- Light equipment that rolls in, then parks without creeping
- Hard polyolefin tread near moisture or wash-down, finished floor
If the corner only ever rolls, the plain C0020741ZN-POL01(KK) skips the brake and the extra width.
