About This Caster - C0020748ZN-POL01(KK)
Pick this 2-inch swivel when the same 1/2-13 leg socket runs deep and a short stem would bottom out before the threads grab.
It carries the longer 1-1/2-inch threaded stem, so it bites deeper into a thick frame or a tapped boss and pulls down tight without running out of thread. The wheel is hard polyolefin, a black tread that rolls light on smooth floors and stays put against moisture and wash-down from -20 to 230°F. Like the rest of Shepherd's 00 Series it sits low, a 2-3/4-inch mount height that keeps an equipment base close to the floor. This is the plain-swivel build, for the corners that roll and steer rather than park.
Ideal applications
- Thick frames or tapped bosses needing 1-1/2 inches of thread engagement
- Stem swaps where a 1-inch stem grabs too little thread to hold
- Hard polyolefin tread on a low equipment base, sealed floor
