About This Caster - PGT30748ZN-POD01 (KK)
Choose this 3-inch Shepherd Institutional stem swivel with a total lock brake for fixtures or food-service gear that threads into a socket and has to park dead still.
The total lock brake stops the wheel and locks the swivel with one pedal so a parked unit holds its spot. This is the threaded-stem version, dropping into a 1/2-inch-13 socket rather than bolting to a plate, with a hard polypropylene wheel that resists chemicals and moisture and wipes clean across a wide -20 to 230°F range. The Institutional line keeps it flexible at 1-1/4 inches wide, on a plain bearing and a 4.375-inch swivel radius. Being hard the wheel can mark a soft floor. It serves from -20°F to 230°F.
