Choose this 3-inch Shepherd Omega grip-ring swivel when an office chair or stand rolls on hardwood or tile and the floor must stay unmarked.
The clear polyurethane wheel is the reason to pick this one: its translucent tread is non-marking and gentle on finished floors, so it leaves no streaks on light hardwood and tile where a black wheel might, and it gives a clean premium look under a visible base. The Omega series rides on heat-treated steel rigs with a chrome finish, and this is the grip-ring version, friction-locking a 7/16-inch by 7/8-inch stem into a standard socket. A precision ball bearing keeps the roll effortless, steering with a 2.875-inch radius. It serves from -45°F to 180°F.
