About This Caster - PTW50507BK-B
Reach for this 50mm Source II swivel when a small threaded leg needs an economical nylon wheel that also locks where the cart parks.
The 1-inch stem threads into a 5/16-18 insert and snugs with a nut, a positive mount on a light leg, and a tread-lock brake presses a shoe on the wheel to stop it rolling while the swivel stays free. The Source II is an all-nylon build, body and wheel both, which keeps it economical, and the white nylon wheel resists moisture and chemicals and holds to 250°F. The plain bearing keeps the roll simple.
Ideal applications
- Small threaded legs that must park without creeping
- Light instrument and utility carts held still on a budget
- Threaded-leg corners braked on a nylon wheel to 250°F
If the threaded corner only rolls, the plain PTW50507BK drops the brake.
